Answer: RGB refers to the primary colors of light, Red, Green and Blue, which are used in monitors, television screens, digital cameras and scanners. CMYK refers to the primary colors of pigment: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. These are the inks / toner that we use in our four color process. The combination of CMYK inks creates black, while the combination of RGB light creates white. There-fore, it is impossible for the printers to exactly match colors as we see them on our monitors. For this reason, we request that you convert your colors from RGB to CMYK if your program allows it. By doing so, you have maximum control over the results since you can do adjustments if a difference in color occurs during the conversion. Question: How do I prepare my document for printing? Answer: Fonts..Fonts..Fonts… The most common problem with a digital file is missing fonts. Some programs will allow you to convert text to curves (Illustrator) this ensures fonts/ pictures will be accurate. If the program does not allow it, be sure to include your fonts, pictures, and art work along with your file. Question: How do I upload files to your ftp site? Answer: Click here to FTP link.
